PrintSYS: Success stories

|
Case Study: Crites and Riddell
Crites and Riddell, a commercial printer specialized in corporate stationery products,
first started using PrintSYS in November 2005. Since then, this printer has allowed
more than sixty corporate customers to order stationary products that vary from
business cards to corporate letterheads and envelops via the web based platform.
In July 2007, Crites and Riddell decided to broaden their product offering by acquiring
a Xerox 5000 digital press. They can now offer their corporate customers, already
familiar with the functionalities of PrintSYS, the possibility of ordering a more
extensive range of printed products via PrintShare
This is a great example of strategic usage of PrintSYS in the realm of commercial
printing!

Case Study: SAQ
Nearly two years ago, managers of the copy centre located at the head office of
the SAQ in Montreal, were looking for a way to automate and streamline the reception
of requests for printed material. In September 2006, the SAQ selected PrintSYS and
began a pilot project with about twenty users. In March 2007, the company decided
to launch the solution to their 600 users. Thanks to PrintSYS, the copy centre now
receives all requests for printed material through a simple and unified process.
Furthermore, the SAQ can also produce reports and statistics in order to accurately
manage the financial planning related to their printing requirements.

Case Study: iCreate Gifts
Building upon their wealth of experience in online shopping platforms, the management
of Prisme Technologies decided in May 2007 to work on a true web based shopping
centre. Of course, the products available would offer the capability of personalizing
printed material. Consumers can now choose from over 30 different products that
range from playing cards to puzzles and even printed mugs. All of these items can
be personalized via the PrintART creation tool.
Prisme Technologies called on a few their printing customers in order to provide
the personalization of these items. Needless to say, this initiative clearly demonstrates
the achievement of a true client-partner business relationship.
The web based portal, www.iCreateGifts.com,
is the first of its kind in Canada!
